Chris Van Patten: Theatre Portfolio

CHRIS VAN PATTEN is a student scenographer and graphic artist. He has designed for the University at Buffalo Department of Theatre & Dance (where he is a sophomore currently studying for his B.F.A. in Theatre Design and Technology) as well as at various high schools in the Mohawk Valley.

He has contributed work to RENT (scenic and projection design), UB Alumni All-Stars Dance Concert (lighting design), Woyzeck (lighting design), The Wiz (scenic design), and Zodiaque 35 (sound design). He has lit pieces for high-profile figures in the dance world including Jon Lehrer, Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, and Bill Evans.

Additionally, he was the director and production designer for Guys And Dolls (a senior project at age 17) and will be producing a student musical theatre cabaret at the University at Buffalo in the spring. He is also slated to contribute lighting design to Zodiaque 36 and sound design to Our Town, both at UB.
